Sánchez and Ryan Brawl, League Suspends Them Thursday, July 5th, 2035 After an intense confrontation, both the Supernovas Alejandro Sánchez and the ParksNRec Daniel Ryan were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Scranton-Pawnee game. Both players will miss 2 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Alejandro Sánchez commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Sánchez is hitting .238 this year with 4 home runs and 19 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .269, 8 walks and scored 13 times. To date this year Ryan has won 3 and lost 3 with a 3.07 ERA, no saves and 23 strikeouts in 6 relief appearances. |
