Braxton Cottongame Wins PAAA Trophy Monday, September 3rd, 2040 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Triple A, but last week Braxton Cottongame of the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Cottongame rocked opposing pitching for a .556 average (10-for-18), 3 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. To date this year Cottongame is batting .317 with 27 home runs. |
