Belugas Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 31st, 2038 The Brinkley Belugas will soon be packing their bags and heading home for the year. The 2038 season won't involve a playoff run for the club, as Brinkley was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Belugas have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 23 years as a USPL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2035. In the last 10 seasons, the Belugas have missed the playoffs 6 times. Brinkley has won the PL AAA Championship 4 times in their history. |
