Disaster Won't Get Playoff Berth Tuesday, August 31st, 2038 Only the most die-hard fans thought the Port Royal Disaster still had any chance at making the playoffs this season, but now even those hopes are dashed. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Port Royal last appeared in the postseason in 2033. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 21 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Disaster have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
