League Punishes Pair for Fighting Thursday, July 3rd, 2042 Roberto Castillo of Bakersfield and David Silva of Baton Rouge were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Castillo will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Silva was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. In 17 games this season Castillo has compiled a .298 batting average with 17 hits and 3 home runs. He has also scored 13 times and knocked in 8 runs. This season Silva has compiled a 4-3 mark with a 5.67 ERA. |
