Super Swinger -- Padoga Slams 5 Hits Friday, September 4th, 2043 The Pawnee ParksNRec stopped the Monongahela Monsters by a score of 7-5 at Whips Ballpark today, with the lion's share of the credit going to center fielder Igme Padoga. The 26-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Padoga said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Padoga did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Monsters. "Not much that I can say," offered Monongahela manager Miguel Martínez. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Igme Padoga singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this season Padoga has gotten 37 hits in 122 at-bats for a .303 batting average with no home runs. His stats include 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has played in 29 games.
