Injury Sidelines Freddy Calcines For Year Wednesday, August 24th, 2044 Freddy Calcines has to call it a season. The Tortolita Drummers starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Kansas Rainbeaus and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Calcines was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 9-10 months. This season Calcines has fanned 61 in 80.2 innings and collected a 5-5 record with a 5.24 ERA. |
