Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Clements Thursday, September 15th, 2044 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Adam Clements did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Dog Park in Ellenburg today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 29-year-old second baseman has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds beat the Pawnee ParksNRec 6-5 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Clements told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Ellenburg clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Adam Clements hit a solo-shot off Kent Martin in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and struck out in the 7th. This season Clements is batting at a .307 clip with 10 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
