Bob Sanders of the Memphis Redbirds had one such moment at Lansing Park today, when he went 5 for 5 at the plate. His hitting heroics weren't enough to pull out the victory, however, and Memphis fell to a 9-4 defeat to the Pawnee ParksNRec. "This was quite a day for me individually, but a little disheartening at the same time," the 25-year-old left fielder told reporters in the postgame interview. "It would have been very special if we had won the game." Bob Sanders singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
