Reserves End Shamakani's Streak Saturday, June 4th, 2044 Dean Shamakani of the Kansas Rainbeaus came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 5 at-bats for the first time in 22 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Kansas dropped the game to the Athletic Club KC Reserves 5-3. "It was not a good day today," Shamakani told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Shamakani is presently hitting at a .333 pace with 4 home runs and 18 RBIs. He has played in 26 games and scored 18 times. |
