Polar Bears Vilen Named 3AA's #1 Player Monday, August 2nd, 2038 So far in his young career, Toni Vilen has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Billings Polar Bears shortstop hit at a torrid .619 clip as he collected 13 hits in 21 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. In his season totals, Vilen has 5 home runs, .330 BA, .385 OBP, 19 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has played in 33 games. |
