Season Over for Alonso Soto in Toledo Thursday, August 18th, 2044 The season is finished for Alonso Soto of the Toledo Saboteurs. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Saboteurs reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Casper Ghosts. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal. Thus far this season Soto has compiled a 2-0 record, made 22 relief appearances with no saves, hurling 44 innings and striking out 52. He has held the opposition to a .264 batting average with a 4.91 ERA. |
