Virginia Starter Named PAA's #1 Pitcher Friday, July 1st, 2039 Over the past month Sergio Gallegos has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the USPL Double A. He proved all that and now he's been named June's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Virginia Palladium Sox posted 4-0 mark and a 3.18 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 34 innings, permitted 30 hits and fanned 23 batters. Gallegos has fashioned a 7-0 mark for the season, 2.59 ERA and thrown 62.2 innings in 10 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .246 against him. |
