Screaming Eagles Are Champs of Premier AA Thursday, September 16th, 2038 The manager of the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles said "a lot of hard work, talent and luck" are the reasons for his team's Premier AA championship. "This club believes in themselves and goes out and gets it done," said Marshall Edwards. "You can't ask for much more than that as a manager." It's the club's 12th division crown and gives them an opportunity to win the franchise's 9th PL AA Championship. "We want that title badly," said starting pitcher Raimo Kangas as he took a break from celebrating with teammates. "This is just a start." |
