Minnesota Clinches Wild Card Sunday, September 19th, 2038 The Minnesota Loons have thrilled their fan base by securing a late-season wild card berth. The team's playoff future was certainly not a foregone conclusion, as the Loons battled to find a place in the postseason. "We never lost faith, I think that's key," said third baseman Igme Samson. "Even when things got rough, people in our clubhouse believed we were going to win." With their record sitting at 60-42, the Loons will try to build on their success to win the 4th USPL Double A championship in team history. |
