2043 #1 Player Chosen By PAA Sunday, October 11th, 2043 The manager of the St. Petersburg Thunder said he thinks John Crosby is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the catcher's 2043 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the USPL Double A Outstanding Hitter Award. His winning campaign featured a .334 batting average and a .421 on-base percentage this year. In 83 games he piled up 102 hits, 23 doubles, no triples, 18 home runs, 69 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. António Hierro of the St. Petersburg Thunder finished second in voting, while Remco Mastenbroek of the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks finished third.
