Player of the Week Trophy to Kline Monday, June 10th, 2041 Springfield Shooters right fielder Sherman Kline had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the USPL Double A named him Player of the Week. Kline banged out 8 hits in 26 at-bats on the way to a .308 batting average. He also racked up 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the season, Kline is hitting at a .248 clip with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 20 runs. He has 33 hits, 13 walks and a .313 on-base percentage. |
