Cajuns End Quintanilla's Streak Friday, July 29th, 2039 The Crowley Cajuns pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Ricardo Quintanilla hitless in 2 at-bats during the club's 2-1 victory over the Tulsa Otters at Titans Ballpark. The disappointing performance ended a 21-game hitting streak for the third baseman. "I'm a little down right now," Quintanilla said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Presently Quintanilla is hitting .330 with 6 home runs and 38 RBIs. He has played in 50 games and scored 30 times. |
