Maurice Palmer Injured, Out for Season Friday, August 21st, 2043 Maurice Palmer of the Rhinos just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Redwood starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Hicksville Hounds recently at Hound Pound. Palmer suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch. The Rhinos medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months. To date this season, Palmer has a record of 2 wins and 6 losses and a 4.23 ERA. He has appeared in 18 games and struck out 74 in 89.1 innings. |
