August's #1 Batter Announced Thursday, September 1st, 2044 António Sierra made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the USPL Rookie this past month. The Redwood Rhinos center fielder shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 21-year-old hit .308 with 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This season Sierra has banged out 101 hits in 332 at-bats for a .304 average with 12 home runs. He is getting on base at a .392 pace and his totals also include 56 RBIs and 63 runs scored. |
