Fred Wells of the Franklin Fire had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2043.

The 21-year-old center fielder put up a .336 average and a .413 on-base percentage, piling up 129 hits, 22 doubles, 6 triples, 21 home runs, 93 RBIs and 81 runs scored.

He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Yasuhiko Goto of the Watford City Trash Pandas finished second in voting, while José Santos of the Maine Sea Dogs finished third.
