Estribera Slams 5 Hits for Surprise Tuesday, May 21st , 2047 5 times is the charm -- at least for Takechi Estribera. The Surprise Shockers first baseman tore up the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at The Igloo today. The offensive onslaught from Estribera powered the Shockers to a 10-6 win. "Estribera was a tough out today," Ellesmere Island manager Mesa Altuve said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Takechi Estribera singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
