Edgardo Moncivas Hurt, Out for Year Tuesday, June 14th, 2044 Edgardo Moncivas of the Snowpeople just might have to call it quits for the season. The 21-year-old Ellesmere Island starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Surprise Shockers recently at The Igloo. Moncivas suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Snowpeople medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 6-7 months. Season-to-date Moncivas has rung up 1 win and no losses in 7 appearances. He has an ERA of 0.93 and has fanned 26 batters in 19.1 innings. |
