The Long Island Lighthouse trumped the Montana Pandas, 14-3, at The Lighthouse. Long Island center fielder Thulsa Doom was terrific. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Steve Romero earned the win for Long Island. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 11. With the win, he raised his record to 4-8. The Lighthouse, at 54-38, lead by one game in their division.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Michael White put Long Island in front, 4-2, with a 2-run single. The Lighthouse went on to win the ballgame.

White said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
