Panama City got a terrific game from shortstop George Morgan. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Vancouver, 10-4. Morgan went 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Wan-hua Ping, the winning pitcher, is now 7-6. He went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 2. Vancouver currently is in 7th place in the Silver League at 48-47.

Vancouver center fielder Júlio Durán helped the Grey Wolves go up, 5-4, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Durán hit a run-scoring single off Panama City pitcher Clemenz Lawrence.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Durán said. "We did a good job of that today."
