Elite Suffer One-Run Loss at Toronto
Due in large part to left fielder Dylan Bettinson, the Toronto Thunder sunk the Detroit Elite, 3-2. Bettinson went 3-3 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The 5th-place Elite dropped to 51-44.

Toronto took a 3-2 lead on Bettinson's 4th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which he hit off Miguel González in the bottom of the seventh, propelled Toronto to the win.

"That's baseball," said Detroit manager Kyle Salow. "Sometimes the other team plays better than yours."
