The Detroit Rock City beat the Las Vegas Flamingos, 6-4, in 10 innings at The Strip. Detroit third baseman Dale Gribble had an outstanding performance. He went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 3 RBI. Daniel Haney, 4-4, earned the win in relief. He allowed 2 runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Earning his 1st save for Detroit was Jonathan Luna.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Gribble delivered big-time for Detroit, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Kun Ec. The game-changing hit put the Rock City on top, 6-4.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Gribble.

Detroit, now 35-61, holds down last place in the Silver League.
