Big Day at the Plate for Bunschoten Not Enough for White Walkers
|
Buffalo first baseman Christiaan Bunschoten had a good game, even if his team did not. The White Walkers dropped a 7-4 decision to Boston at Dunkin Donuts Park. Bunschoten went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Luis Rosário picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 3-0. The loss lowers the Buffalo record to 11-10.
Grover Barbaran had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fourth for Boston. With the bases loaded and the Patriots leading 4-3, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Barbaran said after the game.
