Blue Demons Notch 5-3 Win Versus Lakers
LA Forum was the site of a competitive game between the Echo Park Lakers and Mexico City Blue Demons.

The Mexico City Blue Demons handed the Echo Park Lakers a 5-3 defeat at LA Forum. Shortstop Ooze Abraham Siebert starred for Mexico City. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Norman Davis picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Dong-hoon An suffered the loss. Leonard Dennis finished to wrap up his 26th save.

Had Siebert not come through in the top of the ninth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Siebert hit a 2-run home run. The Blue Demons took the lead, 5-3, and never looked back.

"Good pitching stops good hitting," said Siebert. "And vice-versa."

The win puts the Blue Demons at 46-50, while the Lakers drop to 49-47.
