Cattlemen Win at Baltimore, 8-1
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen downed the Baltimore Bullets, 8-1, at Baltimore Grounds. Stellar pitching by Seung-gwan Kim had a lot to do with it. The left-hander, who is tied for 6th in the SL with a 1.12 WHIP, handcuffed his opponent all game. Kim yielded 1 run over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 8. His record improves to 12-6. Ft. Worth is in 8th place in the Silver League with a record of 47-51.

Ft. Worth won the game in part because of Mitch Swing. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Cattlemen ahead, 2-0. For the game, Swing had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
