The Buckhead Bowties dealt the Long Island Lighthouse a 5-4 loss at 5 Paces Park. Bikila Ayinde was the star on offense. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The last-place Lighthouse have lost 4 consecutive games.
Ayinde had an important at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Bowties went on to win.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Buckhead manager Kerry Hofmeister.
