Tenney Mashes 2 Homers in 6-4 Toronto Win
The Toronto Thunder handed the Pittsburgh Kingfishers a 6-4 defeat at Thunder Field. Center Fielder Herb Tenney starred for Toronto. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. The win for the Thunder raised their record to 56-44.

Tenney had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Skip Lewis, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Thunder a 6-4 lead. It was the 6th home run of the year for Tenney.

Toronto manager Jordan Smith commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
