Panama City first baseman Fred Kalkman had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Montana Pandas, 12-2. Clemenz Lawrence got credit for the win, improving to 5-6. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 6 innings. The Panama City win streak is now 3 games.

George Morgan had a big 3-run home run for the Piranhas in the bottom of the third inning. With Panama City leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Dan Collins and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Piranhas on top, 5-1.

"The effort wasn't good enough," said losing manager Andrew Schupick.
