In a tight contest at Condor Nest, the Mexico City Blue Demons edged the Ft. Worth Cattlemen by the score of 5-4. Mexico City designated hitter Gerald Hartnell, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. The 8th-place Blue Demons lifted their record to 49-53.

Mexico City got a game-changing hit from Mike Joseph. The pinch hitter blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a winner.
