The Philadelphia Liberty defeated the Las Vegas Flamingos, 8-2, in United States Silver League action at Liberty Park. Oliver Ortega pulled his weight. The 10-year veteran was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The winning pitcher was Al Ivey. His record now stands at 6-6.
