Hacking Stars as Flamingos Top Cattlemen, 7-4
Flamingos first baseman Lenny Hacking put his stamp on his team's 7-4 win over the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Hacking was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Las Vegas in the contest. The winning pitcher was Paul Ramsey. He's now 7-3. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits for the Flamingos. Hacking had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 changeup from Jesús Rosas, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Flamingos a 6-3 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Hacking.

Las Vegas manager Tom Williams was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
