Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Buckhead Bowties were eager to watch Max Meltdown square off against Juan Rodríguez of the visiting Dayton Dirty Reds. In the end, the Dirty Reds won the game, 7-1, with Juan Rodríguez leading the way.

Vasan Parthiban helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run single to give Dayton a 2-0 lead.

"Juan doing his thing just hyped us all up," said Dayton manager David Dodds.
