Buckhead turned a good performance from starting pitcher Uhi Ahipene into a 5-2 triumph over the Dayton Dirty Reds at 5 Paces Park. The win lifts Buckhead to a record of 1-1.

Buckhead took the lead, 5-2, on Héctor Chávez's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Dayton pitcher Ioachime Yakutin in the bottom of the eighth.

"Uhi didn't monkey around out there," said Buckhead field general Kerry Hofmeister.
