Conan Knox never let Boston get something going. The Buffalo right-hander commanded his slider in pitching the White Walkers to a 2-1 win. Buffalo pitcher Jerome Field got the win. He's now 2-0. Aaron Daniels was tagged with the loss. The win gives Buffalo a season record of 13-9.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Iverson Allen to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I'm just trying to make sure I'm focused for each and every pitch," said Knox.
