Hurricanes Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
The Cape Coral Hurricanes defeated the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 4-3. Right Fielder Matt Yarbrough deserved a large share of the credit. Yarbrough went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Hurricanes. The Hurricanes raised their record to 1-1.

Karl Johnson, who finished 2nd in the 3L in triples with 5 in 2060, helped out the Cape Coral cause in the top of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4.

"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Yarbrough after the game.
