|
Bowties second baseman Harry Kofmeister left his mark on his team's 5-4 win over the Dayton Dirty Reds. Kofmeister, who finished 3rd in the 3L in triples with 6 in 2058, was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Buckhead in the contest. Ed House earned the save for Buckhead, his 2nd of the year. The victory makes Buckhead 2-1.
Kent Miller drew 1 walk against the Dirty Reds. With the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run that put Buckhead in front, 5-4.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Kofmeister told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
