Thunder Suffer One-Run Loss at Hollywood
|
Fans watched the Hollywood Shredders and the Toronto Thunder fight to the finish.
Hollywood registered a win at The Hollywood Bowl by beating the Toronto Thunder, 4-3. Pitcher Christos Waddington was one reason why the Shredders triumphed. Jack Hill earned the save, his 1st, for the Shredders.
Making an impact for Hollywood was catcher Stanley Johnston. With a T drilled a 2-run double off Brandon Fox in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Johnston went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Toronto manager Jordan Smith, "let me know."
Hollywood currently is in 8th place in the Premier League at 11-12.
