A good performance from first baseman Ángel Macías helped the St. Louis Coeur defeat the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 6-3. Macías went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 4 runs for the Coeur. Cape Coral is now 2-3.

Macías had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the third for the Coeur. Coming up with the bases loaded and St. Louis trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.

After the game, St. Louis manager Scott McMahon applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
