The Charleston Battery dealt the Nova Scotia Leviathan a 5-4 loss at Charleston Armory. Wilbert Bradley was the star on offense. He went 3-5 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 times. Charleston reliever Gary Mosley picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Martín Cedeño absorbed the loss. With the win, Charleston improves its record to 5-2.

The Battery got a clutch hit from third baseman Dennis Kemp. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Battery.
