The Toledo Stingers defeated the Kingston Ponies, 8-4, at Pacesetter Park. John López produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 1 run and driving in 2. Kingston is now 2-6.

In the bottom of the sixth, Lester Threlfall delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 3rd, the Toledo right fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Stingers in front, 8-4.

"They had a good approach," Kingston skipper Rayzor Ray said of the opposition. "Hats off to them."
