Shredders Top Voodoo, 5-2

Hollywood pitcher Bill Owens did his part in helping his team defeat the New Orleans Voodoo, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The win elevated the Shredders to 12-11.
Hollywood used the clutch hitting of Kel Allen to snag the win. The center fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shredders ahead, 5-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Allen.
