Led by 22-year-old Edgar Zwarthoed, the Dayton Dirty Reds knocked off the Kingston Ponies, 4-2. Zwarthoed was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs for the Dirty Reds. The Dirty Reds, now 6-3, have been playing some good baseball.

John Hall aided the Dayton cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop drew 2 walks.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Zwarthoed. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
