The Buckhead Bowties grabbed a win, 6-4, over the Charleston Battery at 5 Paces Park. Buckhead right fielder Dominic Walter slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Andrei Demian was the winner. Over 7.2 innings, he yielded 4 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 5 strikeouts. The save was credited to Forest Strickland, his 1st.

With Buckhead leading 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Walter hit a sinker from Pham Phung for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Bowties ahead, 5-1.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Walter.

Charleston, with the loss, is still a robust 7-3.
