Ch'ae 3-for-5 in Vancouver Win
The Vancouver Grey Wolves had no problem beating the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 12-3, at The Dungeon in Halifax. Yoon-tae Ch'ae, who is tied for 2nd in the 3L in total bases with 34, led the onslaught. He was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Vancouver. Júlio Martínez, the winning pitcher, improved to 2-0. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The win puts Vancouver at 8-4.

Gerben Pauw had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the second for Vancouver. With the bases loaded and the Grey Wolves leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

Nova Scotia manager Tyler Studebaker said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."
