Ponies Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
The Kingston Ponies got a stellar effort from pitcher Li-ping Cheng, helping Kingston score a win over the visiting St. Louis Coeur, 5-0. The Ponies have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 12 games.

Kingston right fielder Alex Combs contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a slider to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 4th hit of the season and put the Ponies ahead, 2-0.

"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Cheng.
