Hollywood and Toronto duked it out and the Shredders came out victorious.

The Hollywood Shredders got a magnificent performance from pitcher Chris Johnston, who muffled the Toronto offense en route to a tight, 3-0 Shredders win at The Hollywood Bowl. Hollywood is 12-12 and Toronto, with the loss, 13-11.

Johnston, who dominated for Hollywood, earned the victory to move to 2-3. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 5. Toronto batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Chris made some big pitches when he needed to," said Shredders manager TJ Reynolds.
