The Kingston Ponies used a stellar performance from pitcher Donald Kane to throttle the Nova Scotia offense en route to an extra-inning, 3-2 win at Megaffin Park. Jonathan Luna earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. The Ponies raised their record to 6-8.

Up to bat in the bottom of the 15th, 29-year old second baseman Daniel Long had a chance to be the hero. Nova Scotia pitcher Ben Frazier wanted to foil that plan. But with no outs, Long hit a sacrifice fly. The Ponies had themselves a thrilling win.

"I'm happy we won," said Kane. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
